Air Quality Policy

Redmond Jr. Football will leverage the State of Washington’s Department of Ecology Air Quality Advisory Framework and reporting from state’s air quality sensors.  Please read the FAQ on their site for additional information.

Practice for the day will be determined by the criteria below and readings from the Bellevue Reporting station as of 2pm.  Coaches will communicate to teams the status of practice at that time.

1. Good.  No restrictions

2. Moderate.  Light conditioning only.

3. Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups.  Indoor preferred.  Board decision on outdoor.  If outdoor, No pads, No conditioning. 

4. Unhealthy.  Indoor required.  No outdoor practice.

5. Very Unhealthy.  Indoor required.  No outdoor practice.

6. Hazardous.  Indoor required.  No outdoor practice.
